Today, it’s time to ask yourself something that might be a tough question. Are you feeling stuck or stagnant in your business?
Often, we don’t want to admit that we might be feeling stuck, lost, or overwhelmed. Maybe it feels vulnerable, maybe we feel like we shouldn’t ask for help. But the truth is that the only way to move past feeling stuck is to acknowledge it and get support if we need it. We’re not alone and we don’t have to figure it all out by ourselves.
I’d like to share something I learned in my very first year of business that has stayed with me all the way till now: Get out of the ‘how’.
Often, I see people stuck in their business because they’re stuck in the ‘how’. There are things they want to do, but they don’t know how, or they don’t know where to start. If that feels familiar, then think about it this way: What is it costing you to procrastinate?
Whatever part of your business it is, as long as you’re feeling stuck, it’s taking up space and weighing on you. It makes you exhausted, and stagnated, and keeps your business from moving forward.
No matter where you are on your business journey, today I want to challenge you to think about this differently. Instead of feeling like you’re stuck because you don’t know what to do, think about what it is that you want and map out actionable, bite-sized steps to get you there.
When you can shift your mindset like that, you can really, truly come into your own as the CEO of your business. No more uncertainty or feeling like you’re winging it – you’re in control and steering the ship.
